The Role
We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a dynamic Key Account Manager to join our Patient Support Services team based in NSW covering the Sydney South territory. Our Patient Support Services portfolio encompasses the Hillrom Smart beds and surfaces.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will work as an integral member of the team driving revenue growth and profitability across all assigned accounts new and existing. In this role you will use your effective territory leadership skills to implement sales strategies through development of new business and maintaining existing business while improving market presence of our product portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive Growth: Achieve revenue and profitability targets across assigned accounts.

  • Expand Market Presence: Identify new business opportunities and protect existing accounts from competitors.

  • Champion Hillrom Beds: Promote our advanced hospital bed systems and related technologies, demonstrating their value in enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.

  • Engage Clinicians: Spend significant time in hospitals and healthcare facilities, delivering product demonstrations, in-servicing, and technical consultations.

  • Lead Proposals & Tenders: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and manage high-value tenders with hospitals and healthcare providers.

  • Collaborate & Innovate: Work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and deliver exceptional service.

  • Own Your Territory: Manage accounts with precision using Salesforce and Power BI, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in a sales role within the medical device, medical capital or healthcare industry

  • Skills: Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills; proven ability to manage complex tenders and present technical information confidently

  • Knowledge: Familiarity with key account management principles, value-added selling techniques, and healthcare environments

  • Tech Proficient: Demonstrate strong capability in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce experience preferred)

  • Education: Tertiary qualifications in healthcare, science, or business are highly regarded.
