Your role at Baxter:

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) supports effective management and continuous improvement of supplier quality performance to ensure that materials, components, and services meet Baxter’s quality standards and regulatory requirements.

This role partners with internal teams and suppliers to address quality issues, support compliance with applicable standards (e.g., ISO 13485, ISO 9001), and contribute to supplier development activities. The position requires a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and problem-solving methodologies, with a focus on execution, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Support the investigation and resolution of supplier-related quality issues, including audit findings and supplier corrective actions (SCARs), ensuring timely follow-up and closure.

  • Review and provide input on supplier change requests (e.g., process or location changes), ensuring appropriate documentation and risk considerations.

  • Assist in implementing supplier risk management activities and monitoring supplier performance.

  • Participate in supplier audits (internal and external), including preparation, execution support, and follow-up actions.

  • Maintain and track supplier performance metrics (scorecards), supporting data analysis and improvement initiatives.

  • Support qualification activities related to supplier components and engineering changes, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

  • Contribute to problem-solving efforts for recurring supplier quality issues using structured methodologies.

  • Provide input for Supplier Business Reviews and support supplier performance discussions.

  • Participate in cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, Regulatory) to address supplier-related quality concerns.

  • Support periodic supplier re-evaluations and ensure documentation is complete and audit ready.

  • Assist in maintaining supplier quality agreements and ensuring alignment with company requirements.

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field required.

  • 2–4 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, or quality engineering (regulated industry preferred).

  • Basic knowledge of ISO 13485, ISO 9001, or similar quality standards.

  • Exposure to supplier audits, QMS processes, and continuous improvement tools is preferred.

  • Advance level of English.
