Baxter offers generous paid time off, paid parental leave, and flexible work arrangements to help employees manage both work and life. Employees at Baxter are offered a generous paid time off package or 20–35 days (depending on length of service), company‑paid holidays, and 12 weeks of full-pay parental leave, along with programs for family needs, medical leave, civic duties, bereavement, and military service. To help Baxter team members manage both work and life, our approach to workplace flexibility supports different ways of working, whether through telework, adjusted hours, compressed schedules, or other arrangements that fit your role. We equip employees with tools and training to make flexibility work, so you can take care of what matters most, both on and off the job.

The Employee Disaster Relief Program provides financial assistance to Baxter employees facing hardship after a natural disaster. Funded primarily through donations from colleagues — with all administrative costs covered by the Baxter International Foundation — the program ensures that 100% of contributions go directly to helping employees recover and rebuild.

Matching Gift Program

Our people make an impact that extends far beyond the workplace. Many team members choose to give back, through hands-on volunteering or by supporting causes that matter personally to them. Our Foundation offers a Matching Gift Program that matches employee donations of $25 or more, up to $5,000, to eligible U.S. nonprofit organizations.
