Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The Associate Marketing Manager, Global Marketing – Access is responsible for driving global marketing strategy and execution across the full product lifecycle for the Access portfolio. This role serves as the primary commercial representative for new product development (NPD), sustaining project organization (SPO) initiatives, and in-market optimization, working cross-functionally with R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Medical, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and regional marketing teams.

This role is an individual contributor with significant influence in a highly matrixed, global organization and is accountable for portfolio strategy, market insights, launch excellence, and commercial performance.

Portfolio Strategy & Lifecycle Management

  • Owns and execute global marketing strategy for the Access/Sets portfolio across the full product lifecycle, including NPD, sustaining initiatives, regulatory transitions, cost reduction, and product phase-out
  • Develop and maintain portfolio roadmaps, prioritization recommendations, and resource needs in alignment with business objectives
  • Identify unmet customer needs and growth opportunities through market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and customer engagement

New Product Development & Sustaining Projects

  • Serve as the global marketing member on project core teams for NPD and SPO initiatives, representing the voice of the customer throughout the development process.
  • Define and communicate market and customer requirements, including intended use, value propositions, and usability insights, in partnership with R&D and Marketing Communications
  • Lead or support market research activities such as customer usability studies, willingness‑to‑pay assessments, qualitative interviews, and quantitative research
  • Conduct market impact assessments for product changes (i.e., change control) and own assigned marketing deliverables
  • Develop commercial business cases, in partnership with Finance, to support new product and portfolio initiatives
  • Support development of global value propositions and pricing strategies informed by customer needs and competitive dynamics
  • Monitor and benchmark competitive offerings, identifying implications for portfolio strategy and positioning

Launch & Market Enablement

  • Partner with regional and downstream marketing teams to enable successful global and regional launches, including GEOX launches
  • Support development and approval of training materials and marketing collateral, in collaboration with Marketing Communications through applicable advertising and promotions approval systems
  • Conduct regular global or regional update sessions to communicate portfolio priorities, timelines, and progress

Commercial Performance & Forecasting

  • Support demand forecasting and supply alignment to meet annual operating plans and customer demand, in collaboration with the Manufacturing Plants, Supply Chain, and Network Planning teams
  • Monitor portfolio performance, including revenue, growth, and adoption metrics, and identify gaps with associated mitigation plans
  • Provide regular portfolio performance updates to cross‑functional and leadership stakeholders

Regulatory, Quality & Compliance Support

  • Support implementation of Medical Device Regulation (MDR) labeling transitions, including coordination of inventory requirements and regulatory timelines by market
  • Partner with Regulatory Affairs, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure compliant commercialization and continuity of supply
  • Support product quality initiatives, field actions, and continuous improvement activities as required

Cross-Functional & External Collaboration

  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs and Human Factors teams to support generation of medical, usability, environmental, or value-based evidence
  • Manage relationships with third-party finished goods suppliers, supporting alignment on product changes, supply continuity, and performance expectations
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority to drive results

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA or similar) is a plus
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in product marketing, product management or commercial roles within medical devices, healthcare, or other regulated industries.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €36.000 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
