This is where your work makes a difference.

At Baxter, we believe every person—regardless of who they are or where they are from—deserves a chance to live a healthy life. It was our founding belief in 1931 and continues to be our guiding principle. We are redefining healthcare delivery to make a greater impact today, tomorrow, and beyond.

Our Baxter colleagues are united by our Mission to Save and Sustain Lives. Together, our community is driven by a culture of courage, trust, and collaboration. Every individual is empowered to take ownership and make a meaningful impact. We strive for efficient and effective operations, and we hold each other accountable for delivering exceptional results.

Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.

Your role at Baxter

This role sits at the center of one of the most meaningful transformations happening within Baxter’s cardiology portfolio. Baxter entered this space in 2021 through its acquisition of Bardy Diagnostics, the company behind the highly regarded CAM patch and the Monarch electrocardiogram (ECG) visualization software. Bardy brought deep clinical expertise and a culture of innovation, and those strengths continue to shape how we support technicians, clinicians, and patients today.

From day one, you’ll work closely with ECG technicians across multiple U.S. sites, gaining firsthand insight into how they analyze patient data and how our tools impact real clinical decisions. That proximity to users, combined with your partnership with engineering and product teams in Bellevue, gives you a uniquely holistic vantage point: you’ll see the full lifecycle of a product, from concept to development to real‑world use. This blend of technical depth, user immersion, and cross‑functional collaboration is rare—and it’s central to the impact you’ll have.

What makes this opportunity especially compelling is the Monarch platform itself. As a powerful ECG visualization tool, it’s central to the products and services that Cardiology delivers. You’ll be the person who bridges user needs, technical feasibility, and product strategy—shaping a tool that technicians and patients rely on daily for detailed and insightful analysis of cardiac events and arrhythmias. For someone who thrives at the intersection of software engineering, product management, and clinical workflow design, this is a rare chance to lead a high‑impact product through its next chapter and leave a lasting mark on a growing, mission‑driven business.

As the Sr Principal, Business Analyst, you will serve as a key strategic partner across Product Management, Engineering, User Experience, and clinical operations. You will shape how requirements and solutions are defined, translated, and delivered for Baxter’s Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities and software medical device solutions. Acting as both a product subject‑matter expert and a cross‑functional problem solver, you will drive clarity, quality, and alignment throughout the product lifecycle.

This position follows a hybrid schedule and is based out of our Bellevue, WA office.

What you’ll be doing

  • Analyzing stakeholder needs — Partner with Product Management, Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility electrocardiogram (ECG) Technicians, Customer Experience, Finance, and IT to gather and clarify business needs.

  • Defining requirements — Collect, analyze, and validate requirements for completeness, feasibility, and alignment with standards.

  • Serving as a product SME — Provide subject‑matter expertise on product features, workflows, and system behavior throughout development and support.

  • Translating concepts into specifications — Convert user needs into clear functional requirements and technical specifications for development teams.

  • Modeling processes — Develop process maps, diagrams, and documentation to guide developers and project teams.

  • Driving quality and efficiency — Create process documentation and work instructions that improve quality, consistency, and team performance.

  • Leading testing activities — Build and execute test plans to identify issues early and ensure readiness before implementation.

  • Supporting regulatory compliance — Assist technical teams in preparing documentation required for FDA and global regulatory standards.

What you’ll bring

  •  12+ years in Business Analyst or Inbound Product Manager roles with evidence of successful product delivery.

  • BS/BA in an engineering discipline with software/project management focus preferred; healthcare or medical device experience preferred.

  • Experience in full lifecycle technical product management, from ideation to delivery.

  • Expertise in software development processes — Strong understanding of agile software development methodologies and lifecycle practices.

  • Cross‑functional leadership — Demonstrated ability to build and leverage strategic relationships across diverse teams.

  • Analytical and operational excellence — Proven track record of analytical rigor, detail orientation, and process discipline.

  • Advanced communication skills — Skilled in verbal, written, and negotiation communication, including managing objections.

  • Creative problem‑solving — Strong analytical and creative thinking with the ability to solve complex product and program challenges.

  • Organizational strength — Highly organized, self‑directed, and effective at prioritizing in fast‑paced environments.
