As an Associate Account Manager, Respiratory Health, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. The Associate Manager Respiratory Health drives sales of the respiratory product portfolio, including capital opportunities and associated disposables within the assigned territory and account base.

Part of Baxter’s sales team: focus on region, generate new business, grow market presence, prioritize patient-centric approach. This role will team with senior sales leaders to develop and implement a sales strategy for all Baxter respiratory health products and programs within the assigned territory.

This role is field based, handling respiratory accounts within Quebec and Atlantic Canada. The incumbent will need to travel up to 75% within their assigned territory, including 25-50% overnight travel.

What you'll be doing

  • Understanding of all products within the respiratory health portfolio and proactively identify, target, and engage new customer opportunities within the assigned territory based on the customers’ clinical and economic needs.

  • Participate in creation of territory strategy on an annual basis to drive sales growth.

  • Generate leads to develop a robust sales funnel and consistently move opportunities through the sales process to “close”.

  • Conduct product demos and coordinate trials in collaboration with clinical team members.

  • Work closely with Account Managers, Sales Directors, and Marketing to support broader territory strategies.

  • Develop a deep understanding of respiratory portfolio to optimally position the value proposition.

  • Travel as the need arises throughout the territory to support the business, and periodically, nationally and internationally to support projects and initiatives as needed, in order to meet or exceed sales goals.

What you'll bring

  • Post secondary education in related field is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, Marketing, Life Sciences, or related field(s) is preferred.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in sales, preferably selling medical equipment and/or devices to hospitals.

  • Technology proficient: familiarity with CRM system and other sales-related technology.

  • Self-starter with mentality to find and close new business.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to efficiently connect with clients, colleagues, and collaborators.

We understand that compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated salary range for this position is $85,000.00 - $115,000.00 annually, which is inclusive of base salary as well as estimated commissions based on expected target performance. Individual pay will be determined based upon skills, expertise, and experience, as well as achievement of sales performance to goal. Au sein de l'équipe des ventes de Baxter : vous vous concentrez sur votre région, développez de nouvelles affaires, renforcez notre présence sur le marché et privilégiez une approche centrée sur le patient. Vous travaillerez en étroite collaboration avec les responsables des ventes pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre une stratégie de vente pour tous les produits et programmes de santé respiratoire de Baxter sur le territoire attribué.

Ce poste est basé sur le terrain et couvre la gestion des comptes du secteur respiratoire au Québec et dans les provinces de l’Atlantique. Le titulaire du poste devra se déplacer jusqu'à 75 % de son temps sur son territoire, dont 25 à 50 % avec nuitées.

Vos tâches

• Maîtriser tous les produits de notre gamme de solutions respiratoires et identifier, cibler et prospecter de nouveaux clients potentiels sur le territoire attribué, en fonction de leurs besoins cliniques et économiques.


• Participer à l'élaboration annuelle de la stratégie territoriale pour stimuler la croissance des ventes.

• Générer des prospects pour alimenter un pipeline de ventes performant et faire progresser les occasions d'affaires jusqu'à la conclusion des ventes.

• Effectuer des démonstrations de produits et coordonner les essais cliniques en collaboration avec les équipes cliniques.

• Collaborer étroitement avec les gestionnaires de comptes, les directeurs des ventes et le marketing pour soutenir les stratégies territoriales globales.

• Développer une connaissance approfondie de notre gamme de produits respiratoires afin d'optimiser notre proposition de valeur.

• Déplacements fréquents sur l'ensemble du territoire pour soutenir l'activité, et ponctuellement à l'échelle nationale et internationale pour appuyer les projets et initiatives, afin d'atteindre ou de dépasser les objectifs de vente.

Votre profil

• Formation postsecondaire dans un domaine pertinent requise.

• Baccalauréat ou expérience équivalente en affaires, marketing, sciences de la vie ou dans un domaine connexe (un atout).

• Minimum de deux ans d'expérience dans la vente, préférablement d'équipement et/ou de dispositifs médicaux aux hôpitaux.

• Maîtrise des outils technologiques : connaissance des systèmes CRM et autres technologies liées à la vente.

• Autonomie et proactivité pour la prospection et la conclusion de nouvelles affaires.

• Excellentes compétences en communication, en relations interpersonnelles et en présentation.

• Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite pour interagir efficacement avec les clients, les collègues et les collaborateurs.
