Your role at Baxter

The Contract analyst will be supporting the HST Sales Operations. They will be responsible for the implementation and maintenance of low to medium complexity direct and Regional or National Account bids, contracts, pricing agreements and contract analysis with the support or direction of others where needed. They will work collaboratively with the various Business Operations functions, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Legal departments to resolve contract issues, eliminate billing delays and process contract payments accurately. Position requires achieving timely achievement completion and short-term initiatives to support contract timelines and goals.

Your Team

The Department analyst is responsible for performing many tasks for the Medical Products Division and driving analysis and supporting decisions for several tasks under the US Hospital Products Division, solving sophisticated requests received thru different sources (i.e. but not limited to emails, mailboxes, Price Activations tools, SharePoint).

What you'll be doing

  • We serve as a key contact for assigned agreements and perform ad-hoc analysis /reporting as requested.

  • We process the monthly and daily activities via Calendar to ensure compliance with established Turnaround Times/important metrics

  • We partner with Legal, Sales, Marketing, and other functional groups to resolve issues in a timely manner.

  • We process all payments assigned to their contracts.

  • We research and resolve pricing and billing issues for assigned accounts.

  • We assist with monitoring the GPO roster maintenance process and general contract maintenance activities to ensure GPO administration fees, rebates and chargebacks are paid timely and accurately.

  • We keep an open communication (verbal and written) the Team Members as well with the leadership team.

  • We provide outstanding Customer Service to all internal/external customers.

  • We support as a backup for any other activity required in the team, based on previous training plans, by the Supervisor

  • We analyze, research, make recommendations and implement solutions of business issues and opportunities along with the Sr. Analysts, Managers

  • We build and maintain SOP processes documentation and continuously provide updates based on research and experience and process changes.

  • We are a liaison with Audit to provide support on internal and external audits requests and work preveniently on the SOX controls.

  • We assist and provide training to internal or external employees as needed.

  • We closely track the Metrics to ensure that goals are achieved.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 2 years of experience in contract administration or a similar role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

  • Experience in ERPs (SAP, JDE, AS400) is a requirement.

  • Proficiency in English and Spanish. B2+ required.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to collaborate optimally with cross-functional teams.
