Overview

As a member of Baxter’s sales team, you’ll be aligned to one of our global business units and be responsible for new business, developing existing accounts and ensuring patient-centric approach in all your dealings. You’ll work within an assigned geographic area or with specific accounts to achieve or exceed personal and business goals, all in pursuit of our mission to save and sustain lives. In the sales role, you’ll have the opportunity to provide input on new markets and products, manage customer concerns, and collaborate with other teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree; MBA strongly preferred

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing and business development experience in medical devices

  • Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including analytical programs

  • Excellent communications skills with a track record of working with all levels of a business organization

  • The ability to work decisively with a broad range of competing projects and priorities, managing complex, highly analytical projects while at the same time managing the tactical execution of business development plans.

  • The ability to work independently, but also strong sales team leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.

  • Promote the company’s products or services to prospective clients.

  • Participate in collaborative business meetings to update key stakeholders.

  • Review sales contracts to ensure they meet legal and corporate guidelines.

  • Interact with clients and respond to important inquiries about the company’s products or services.

  • Identify new sales targets and opportunities, developing strategic growth plan.

  • Evaluate potential targets, managing the cross-functional process.

  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.

  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.

  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.

  • Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.

  • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.

  • Attend industry association events and conferences, provide feedback, create case studies on market trends with a view to developing new services & products

  •  Identifying opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels leading to an increase in sales

  •  Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators.

  • Effectively collaborate with Internal Stakeholders and other businesses to target relevant business opportunities for Baxter.

  • Adhere to the Regulatory norms and follow ethical practices at work.
