Your role at Baxter:

You as Sr Manager, Supply Chain will coordinate the company's full supply operations. This includes suppliers of suppliers, suppliers, transports, and consolidations. You will also coordinate material delivery to the plant, all in-plant processes from receipt to shipment, sterilization, delivery, and final customer happiness. All this in search of optimizing the durations, expenses and inventories that must be invested in the total operation.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop an analysis program covering the entire logistics network. This program sets measurements, goals, and controls all segments with direct managers from various areas. Its purpose is to optimize delivery times, costs, and inventory investments.
  • Holds direct accountability for the Material Flow area in the plant. This includes the warehouse and all operations of receipt, storage, delivery of materials, and shipment of finished product. And accountability for inventory control regarding the accuracy between physical and financial quantities as reflected in the computer system for their control.
  • Develop the flow of materials alongside products, physical and computer system that promotes the efficient operation within the facility and the control of materials.
  • Full responsibility for the logistics and sterilization monitoring area, as well as all import and export processes. Contracting along with oversight of all national and international transport for the transfer of materials, finished products and equipment. Knowledge and compliance with all legal obligations related to international trade.
  • Charged with planning the production, sterilization and distribution of our products. This includes policy and inventory control of products in Baxter's U.S. supply chain and other sectors. It also covers sales control and forecasting. Additionally, it involves settling production quantities and inventory values in dollars. Determination along with supervision of the production capacities of our production process in detail of machinery, equipment and finally, to establish the measurements and oversight of the levels of happiness of our customers.
  • Preparation of budgets for department expenses as well as costs of raw materials and transportation of materials and finished products, consolidations and sterilization of products.
  • Total administration of the department's personnel through the different levels of supervisors that promote a good work environment and associate happiness, for the different categories of exempt, non-exempt and scheduled personnel.
  • Settle raw material stock quantities and MROS to fulfill service level commitments and accomplish inventory targets while sustaining cash flow goals.
  • Define raw material inventory quantities alongside MROS to meet service level and achieve inventory goals while maintaining cash flow targets.
  • Guarantee compliance with the standards and policies of the Environment, Health and Occupational Safety Program that are developed on site. Ensure observance of the rules derived from it. Be responsible for the safety of all people in all areas of the Supply Chain.
  • Administration and control of the planning and execution of the E-Beam sterilization process of the plant.

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience, is required
  • Proven record in medical device or other regulated technical industry
  • Validated experience in advising, encouraging, and managing personnel.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • Domain of operation, application and implementation of coordinated manufacturing software of applicable platform.
  • Ability to coordinate, develop, direct and control operations based on encouraged goals.
