Your role as a valued member of our finance organization involves providing insights that support our operations and goals. The Senior Financial Analyst aids the US Pharmaceuticals division, the top earner at Baxter.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the function planning process (Plan, Forecasts, LRP) in collaboration with key business partners.
  • Prepare the Monthly/Quarterly Results Review, periodic LBE’s working closely with market leadership. Participate and lead monthly reviews of results.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis for strategic evaluations, financial simulations, and excel modeling to provide insightful recommendations and support for management decision making.
  • Assist in driving improved data analytics for function leadership and business partners.
  • Drive and own financial initiatives alignment with function along with updates in FP&A process.
  • Act as a trusted business partner, bringing to bear financial and business expertise to drive financial decisions.
  • Support and drive Gross to Net budgeting and analysis working closely with Accounting
  • Liaison with Accounting CoE on new marketing models which may require remarkable accounting treatments
  • Support Baxter Investor Relations and assist in developing the external messaging for the US market.
  • Understand relevant business risks, perform appropriate risk assessment, and recommend mitigation plans
  • Drive compliance with internal controls, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), SEC requirements, and Baxter Financial Policies and Procedures for all related entities and operations

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field required, CPA/MBA preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a financial analyst role
  • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with business partners
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards (JDE), Alteryx, Tableau, and Cognos BI preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and lead multiple priorities
  • Initiative, accountability, and integrity with attention to details
  • Eagerness to learn and continuously improve with willingness to challenge the status quo

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
