We are looking for a hands-on, customer-focused Medical Bed Service Technician to join our team in the Netherlands. This role is dedicated exclusively to the delivery, installation, maintenance, and support of medical beds in healthcare environments. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver and install clean, ready-to-use medical beds at hospitals and care facilities.
• Pick up used or malfunctioning beds and ensure proper disinfection and repair.
• Perform routine maintenance, implement product modifications, and conduct audits.
• Provide basic training and demonstrations to caregivers and healthcare staff.
• Maintain inventory of beds, spare parts, and demo units.
• Complete service documentation and activity reports accurately.
• Ensure cleanliness of the service center, workshop, and company vehicle.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every 4 to 6 weeks to support urgent service needs.
• When covering for an absent colleague, you may be required to perform additional service center duties to ensure continuity of operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Technical background in mechanics, electronics, or biomedical engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a service technician role, ideally in healthcare.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene, safety rules, and electrical engineering.
• Familiarity with Hillrom products is a plus.
• Basic PC skills (MS Office).
• Valid driver’s license (non-HGV/PSV).
• Physical ability to lift and carry loads over 10kg, work in confined spaces, and use stairs.
• Dutch : good writing and speaking
• English : basic
• Candidate ideal location: Utrecht and the surrounding area

Vehicle Policy

A company van/car is provided for work-related travel from home to office or client sites.
No private use is permitted. This ensures full compliance with company and local regulations.
