Your role at Baxter

The Sr Procurement Manager Healthcare leads plant/region sourcing strategy and strategic supplier relationship management, including contract negotiation/development, price change approvals, business continuity and critical issues. Defines preferred suppliers in partnership with Central and ensures delivery of savings MIP, risk mitigation, dual‑source strategy, and payment terms execution.

What you'll be doing

• Drive key Supplier Relationship Management and conduct Supplier Business Reviews.
• Lead negotiations and develop/renew agreements.
• Approve price changes based on cost analysis, inflation and tariff impacts by supplier (PPV).
• Define and recommend preferred suppliers to Central; govern preferred supplier.
• Ensure business continuity and handle customer issues with internal teams and suppliers.
• Ensure materials savings projects for MIP targets, initiative pipeline, and savings validation with Finance.
• Drive Dual Source strategy and mitigation plans for single‑source risks.
• Ensure payment terms execution and working capital metrics with AP/Finance.
• Sponsor strategic RFPs and high‑impact business awards.
• Develop Procurement team capabilities and share standard methodologies.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Engineering or related field (required).
• 8–12 years in sourcing/procurement leading negotiations and SRM.
• Documented success delivering year‑over‑year savings and improved payment terms.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and executive‑level supplier relationship skills.
• Robust project and change management; strong results orientation.
• Fluency in financial analysis (PPV, TCO, payment terms) and risk assessment.
• Experience with global ERP (preferably SAP) and advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent communication and influence across all organizational levels.
• Desired certifications: CPSM/CSCP/Lean Six Sigma.
• Bilingual, English and Spanish
