Your Role at Baxter

THIS IS WHERE you build trust to achieve results

As Head of Commercial LATAM, you will be responsible to execute the go to market strategy that will deliver the expected growth results for the next years. You take pride in representing Baxter and our products. Your keen understanding of our deep portfolio of products and belief in the value and quality they provide to patients fuels your confidence. Our customers trust you and appreciate your knowledge and curiosity when finding solutions to meet their needs. You enjoy being on location, leading your team that building relationships, and establishing trust with the doctors and nurses who use Baxter solutions every day.

What you'll be doing

  • Directly responsible for owning all commercial processes in alignment with the business strategies.
  • Collaborate with your team and different partners to better understand and implement the best commercial strategy to the business. This includes teams of Key Account Managers, Marketing, Demand generation, Product Specialists and Sales operations experts.
  • Partner with regional Center of Excellence to advance business intelligence and CRM initiatives within the region.
  • Co-Lead Sales Compensation including plan design, quota development, incentive calculations and performance reporting.
  • Work closely with senior business leaders to drive the development and implementation of practical solutions to address business objectives, goals and/or exceptions. Convert strategy into action.
  • Relationship management at all levels and across functions including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, IT and other Commercial Excellence groups.
  • Lead multiple, complex projects with broad scope simultaneously both within and outside own functional area.
  • Direct and coordinate all activities of LATAM Commercial Excellence team to drive continuous process improvements and organizational efficiencies.
  • Lead and develop team members towards achieving individual and team objectives and goals.

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or any other related area, MBA or equivalent experience is desired
  • 15 years of commercial experience in similar multinational companies in the healthcare industry for either in Medical Devices or Pharmaceuticals. Proven experience leading global teams.
  • Sales and Marketing experience and leadership
  • E2E Expertise Sales Process
  • Highly strategic and analytical individual who also enjoys being on the field 50-80% of the time, either Hospital, meetings with customer decision making leaders or key opinion leaders.
  • Medtech Industry deep knowledge is a must, including but not limited to a string understanding of how the commercial mapping looks like in different countries.
  • Strong financial knowledge and ability to integrate budget and numerical data intro the sales strategy, in charge of forecasting for the region. P&L Management.
