The Technician, forming part of the project team will provide support to the Engineering team impacting the plant with new business, continuous improvement of existing processes, validating product changes within manufacturing and implementing new processes within the existing business.

He/She will collaborate with different functions of our Manufacturing setup and ensure that timely communications occur with all impacted stakeholders.

The candidate is responsible of developing, installing, overseeing, and providing guidance on equipment. The candidate will provide engineering support to select manufacturing areas, including optimizing system performance.

is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery, ensuring that manufacturing procedures are carried out accurately, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform the necessary maintenance activities on assigned equipment - Maintenance can be related to breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance. Both activities must be performed by following Baxter's Global Procedures, as well as Baxter Malta's Local Procedures.
• Support the Engineering team in installation and validation of New Processes to the Plant, Process improvements, MIPs, SNCs, and NPDs.
• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any process specific requirements.
• Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities

Qualifications

• Fully qualified at MQF Level 4 of an Electrical Qualification.
• Proven work experience as a production technician or similar role
• Experience with industrial manufacturing equipment
• Understanding of safety regulations and procedures
• Good physical condition and stamina
• Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, manuals, and drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €24 000 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
