Your role at Baxter

The Analyst will assist in monthly performance reviews, quarterly forecast processes, annual budgeting, and the long-range plan. Additionally, the role will supply to helpful business analytics, process improvement projects, and ad-hoc initiatives.

This position at Baxter will be part of an outstanding Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) organization and will support the R&D Finance team. The role interacts with the Americas FP&A Center of Expertise (CoE) team as well as in-country finance and business partners within the Americas Region and Global FP&A.

What you'll be doing

• We assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans for R&D, as well as heat maps, PNS (Profit & Sales) reports, and other management requirements.

• We prepare standard reporting packages for monthly and quarterly reviews.

• We support the Global R&D and business partners with analysis, reporting, and presentation materials for MRR, QRR, and forecast scenarios.

• We upload forecast and budget data into financial systems.

• We perform variance analysis to explain differences in performance.

• We complete ad-hoc reporting requests as needed.

• We support and maintain Power BI dashboards, including updates and improvements.

• We build and handle relationships with finance and business collaborators.

• We provide support to finance and R&D leaders on financial processes and reporting.

What you'll bring

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• 2 years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Planning, or Budgeting (internship experience may be considered).

• Knowledge of Power BI and other BI tools a requirement

• English level: B2+ or higher.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
