Your role at Baxter:

The Opex II Engineer, as part of the Opex team, is responsible for supporting the OPEX implementation strategy in the plant. This will require leading workshops, solving problems, applying Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and conducting basic statistical analysis within a project management structure. This person must have very good interpersonal and communication skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Be an active participant in the on-site OPEX deployment strategy and work as an agent of change and support cultural transformation towards continuous improvement.

• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives (EMS, Certification Programs, ICare, Lean Transformation, BOS and others) for the elimination of waste and the reduction of variations in processes through Kaizen and problem-solving workshops, assessments and training.

• Conduct quantitative analyses on key process indicators to pinpoint areas for improvement.

• Evaluate process capabilities, prioritize opportunities for improvement, and innovate and implement process improvement projects.

• Apply technical knowledge in LSS tools to innovate and develop process improvements.

• Support the Value Enhancement Program, identifying and assisting other areas in the execution of projects to meet annual targets.

• Demonstrates discretion in coordinating project definition and selection to align with business objectives.

• Assists in the resolution of priorities and in acquiring results. Oriented to process improvements that make valuable contributions.

• Performs improvement projects to completion and realization of benefits.

What You'll Bring !

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Administration, engineering or related.

• APICS (Certified in Production & Inventory Management), CQE (Certified Quality Engineer).

• 2+ years of experience

• Advance Excel

• B2+ English level
