Summary
The Labeling Operations Manager is responsible for leading, overseeing and coordinating a team that supports global labeling operations within the timelines committed to.
The Labeling Operations Manager is accountable to communicate regularly with labeling stakeholders, Project Leaders, Graphic Designers and Control Specialists to ensure labeling implementation timelines are maintained.
The Labeling Operations Manager is required to drive operational excellence initiatives including investigating and developing solutions that contribute to continuous improvement and/or resolve problems that hinder the labeling process effectiveness and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities.
This section contains a list of primary responsibilities required for the role. The incumbent will perform other duties as assigned.
· Ensures that the output of Global Labeling Operations complies with all applicable requirements and fulfills Business requirements
· Ensures that Labeling activities are delivered on-time, in compliance with the applicable standards and regulations, and meets the customer requirements.
· Responsible for managing and supporting a team directly reporting to them.
· Manages overall coaching, training, development for direct reports.
· Collaborates with multi-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) driving for resolution.
· KPI and metrics: ensures processes and tools are leveraged and accurately utilized to capture data and measure efficiency and effectiveness of the labeling process. Collects and reports data for KPI and metrics measurements.
· Ensures that processes and procedures related to labeling activities and the output of the organization are compliant to applicable requirements and to the Corporate Quality Management System and fulfills business requirements.
· Supports internal and external audits impacting labeling process.
· Interacts and partners with internal and external stakeholders and be responsible for communication and facilitation of meetings with labeling SMEs, such as Product Design Owner (PDO), Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Packaging, Material Suppliers, and Third-Party/CMO companies.
· Will perform other duties as assigned.

· Strong Communication: Interact efficiently with all levels within the local and international functions of the organization. Ability to cascade information both ways and ensure consistent, concise, clear messages to all. Must have strong verbal and written communication skills for effective team management and cross-departmental collaboration. Ability to influence, inspire and guide team members and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
· Decision Making: Capable to analyze information and make sound and timely decisions.
· Resilience and Adaptability: Have the ability to deal and navigate through ambiguious situations and make timely decisions. Must be able to adjust to changing priorities, processes and team dynamics.
· Customer focused: Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work independently as needed and ensure business continuity. Must be results oriented with a process and quality driven approach.
· Problem Solving: Aptitude for identifying issues and implementing effective solutions using critical thinking and challenging the status quo.
Technical and Functional Skills
· Good knowledge of corporate processes including labeling, translation, product life cycle management, labeling regulatory and change control and also data management systems.
· Good knowledge and experience of Quality system processes (e.g., change control, and nonconformance/CAPA specific knowledge).
· Ensures processes and procedures related to labeling activities and the outputs of the organization are compliant.
· Supports development of standard work and best practices.
· Interacts with internal and external business partners, resolves and/or provides path forward for labeling project escalations, including communication and facilitation of cross-functional meetings.
· Ability to respond, manage, meet and report to business labeling priorities
· KPI and metrics: Ensures processes and tools are leveraged and accurately utilized to capture data and measure efficiency and effectiveness of the labeling process. Collects and reports data for KPI and metrics measurements.
· Proactively identify and resolve labeling operations related issues.
· Supervises overall coaching, training and manage development for direct reports.
· Understanding of tools used and applied by labeling functions.
· Excellent use of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, PowerBI, SharePoint, etc)
Education and/or Experience.
The education and/or experience that is necessary to perform the job satisfactorily is:
· Bachelor level degree or equivalent experience
· 5-7 years industry experience in Pharmaceutical or Medical Device related (Quality, Regulatory, Labeling, Manufacturing) industry which includes at least 2 years in people management.
· Preference will be given to candidates with experience within a Global Labeling Operations team including Graphic design experience and / or Project Leading experience.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €44.800 annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
