The Role

An opportunity has arisen for a Senior Analyst, Fulfilment Strategy & Solutions to join our Integrated Supply Chain team at Baxter Healthcare. In this role you will drive strategic and optimisation initiatives across end-to-end supply chain. You will work as a change agent, responsible for providing direction and expertise to the ANZ and Japan markets, in areas of Warehousing, Customer Service and Local & International Transportation, driving operational profitability, efficiency and agility.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, Fulfilment Strategy, you will spearhead the development, implementation, and monitoring of continuous improvement programs, innovative solutions, and cross-functional projects. You will help develop and implement important metrics for the market, providing insights for the Fulfilment team.

Responsibilities

• Present opportunities for efficiency gains to Fulfilment Leaders and support the market in accomplishing continuous improvement projects

• Lead Site Strategic Improvement Plan (SSIP) development, ensuring alignment with the Global Regional Hoshin Plan

• Coach and mentor fulfilment team members to enable effective operational performance management

• Develop, sustain, and regulate Fulfilment team process control dynamics, including critical metric dashboards

• Collaborate with department managers to develop team dashboards to track significant metrics and improve data management processes

• Work together with local data owners to pinpoint trends, risks, and areas of focus, while also backing projects and ongoing improvement efforts

• Engage teams in managing their performance against business objectives and provide mentorship in data analysis

• Collaborate with IT groups to bring to bear digital platforms for visual performance tracking

• Ensure accurate monthly Fulfilment performance representation on Global and Regional scorecards

• Drive governance and support market improvement projects to reduce Fulfilment costs as a percentage of net sales

• Govern and drive the SC Margin Improvement Program, advancing risks and ensuring accountability

• Support the deployment of Regional strategic/transformation projects assigned from Global/Region

• Roll out and monitor Lean & Six Sigma projects, integrating training and resources for sustained improvement

• Manage operational excellence mechanisms based on the Baxter Operating Systems.

Key requirements

• Tertiary degree in Supply Chain/Engineering or other related fields

• 3+ years experience in a data-driven insights and optimisation role

• Solid understanding of strategy deployment techniques, performance measures, and financial/supply chain platforms

• Experience in customer service, transportation, warehousing, and/or international freight improvement projects

• Proven engagement with 3rd party logistics providers (3PLs)

• Lean Six Sigma certification is an advantage

• Experience working within Healthcare, Pharmaceutical or Medical Devices industries is desirable

• Proven experience with process flow, mapping, operational excellence techniques and data-driven decision making

• Knowledge of data analytics platforms (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau) is desirable

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
